Our STORY

A HOME FOR QUEER rest+collective care

We believe healing is a community effort, not an individual burden. Our spaces are free, affirming, and built on mutual care.

We knew firsthand what it felt like to crave access to movement, rest, and grounding while navigating paywalls, fees, and "accessible" spaces that still weren't financially accessible. That experience shaped our commitment to building something different: wellness that actually meets people where they are, without cost as a barrier.

We started simply: a few community events every few months and a single weekly Saturday class.

WHY WE STARTED

HOW WE GREW

As our community grew, so did the need. We expanded our offerings to include weekly classes, outdoor gatherings, community collaborations, and workshops — always free and always centered on queer rest and care.

What began as a small group craving connection has become a growing movement guided by accessibility, equity, and collective care.

WHAT WE’RE FIGHTING FOR

With Love Projects continues to expand not for the sake of scale, but to deepen our commitment: creating spaces where rest, movement, and connection truly belong to everyone.

We believe care should never depend on privilege, perfection, or the ability to pay. We’re building a future where collective wellbeing is a right — not a luxury.

Our Mission

Our Mission

Wellness without paywalls. Belonging without conditions.

At With Love Projects, our mission is to provide free, affirming, and accessible wellness spaces for queer youth and adults, blending holistic wellness practices with social justice education. We believe that true wellness is not just about the body but also about nurturing the mind and spirit in an environment where everyone feels seen, valued, and supported.

We are deeply committed to empowering our community through trauma-informed and culturally competent wellness initiatives that address the unique challenges queer individuals face. Whether its through a restorative yoga class, a guided meditation on self-acceptance, or workshops that explore the intersections of identity and justice, we are here to foster a space of radical healing and transformation.

CORE VALUES

Wellness Is Political

We make the nervous system a site of resistance — because exhaustion is how oppression maintains control.

REST AS RESISTANCE

Slowing down is a threat to a world that profits from our exhaustion — so we make rest a collective practice.

Community-Led Everything

The people who show up shape the space.

Lived experience — especially trans experience — drives the decisions.

Care Without Conditions

This is a space to exhale. No roles to perform.

No expectations to manage. Just arrival.
